Arin Black serves as Senior Content Strategist at Nava, where she works to bring applications for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid into the Cloud. She previously served as a Content Strategy Fellow and Project Manager for the City of Philadelphia's Office of Open Data and Digital Transformation. Her projects there included: Creating the City's digital standards Redesigning websites for numerous city departments Creating the Parks & Rec Finder app Designing a content strategy for the City's Office of Homeless Services
Before becoming a Content Strategist, she was Executive Director for the West Windsor Arts Council and Associate Director for the Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival, Inc. and taught Composition and Rhetoric and Critical Reading at the University of New Orleans and the Community College of Philadelphia.
She has published in ARTVOICES, Turnstile, New Orleans Magazine, thewritelife.com, gonola.com, flypaper.com, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of New Orleans.
