Bio: Poetry is the first thing Jordan Wilson-Dalzell believed in. She graduated Pitzer college with a degree in Creative Writing and is working an MFA in poetry. She has published two poetry books, as well as poems in Prometheus Dreaming , Toho Journal, New Voices and other publications. Art is how she learned to be honest with herself. Slam poetry taught her to stop asking permission to speak. When she's not devoting her life to poetry, she teaches preschoolers how to build a better world than the one they will inherit. She argues with her dog about blankets and works hard at being cozy.
