About this talk

This interactive workshop will cover how academic and creative writers can use productivity strategies used by planners and professionals to take their writing life to the next level. Participants will learn about strategies for prioritizing their projects, managing their to-do lists, developing consistent writing habits, maintaining work/life balance (yes, even during the pandemic), and how to chip away at huge projects so they finish ahead of schedule. The main outcomes of this session involve attendees: (1) cultivating a productive mindset, (2) sharing tips and tricks for helpful planning & productivity strategies, and (3) learning how to hone their workflow. By the end of the session, all participants should have a working knowledge regarding the necessity of the skills of focus, organization, and persistence such that they can create a plan for their plans and then complete each task one at a time.
